When is the deadline to file Form 1099-NEC?

The deadline for filing form 1099-NEC to the IRS is January 31st of the tax year, irrespective of filing methods (paper or electronic filing). Similarly, the deadline to send the Recipient Copy (COPY B) is also due by January 31st. 

If this due date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the filing deadline will be on the following business day.
