What information is required to file Form 1099-MISC?

To file Form 1099-MISC electronically with the IRS, you need the following information:

• Payer Information such as EIN/SSN, Name, Address
• Recipient Information such as Name, EIN/SSN, Address
• Amounts paid to the recipient
• Federal income tax withheld
• State filing details such as State Income, Payer State Number, and State Tax Withheld

When you have the above information ready, you can fill in the information and e-file Form 1099-MISC with the IRS through TaxBandits. After you e-file, we will send you an email about the IRS form status, or you can check it from your account dashboard.
