Will I be notified if my taxpayer e-signs Form 8879-EMP? How do I check the status?

Yes. You will be notified via email once the taxpayer e-signs and submits the Form 8879-EMP. You may preview the form in the Signature page of the return. You then have to e-sign as the electronic return originator (ERO) to complete the signature process.
