Form copies prove that you filed your tax returns for the tax year. The absence of this document is equivalent to the lack of any record of your submitted returns. TaxBandits gives you the option to download the form copies for your records. From Distribution Center, you can download four copies.
Recipient copies: This copy is for the recipient's records and includes information about the amount you report to the IRS.
Payer copies: This copy is for the payer's records and includes information about the payer and the amount you report to the IRS.
State copies: If you have filed state information, then these copies will have all the state information provided in the tax form.
State Reconciliation copies: Few states are required to file reconciliation forms with them, and the copies will have the related information.
