Where do I find a copy of the summary Form 1096?

Form 1096 is not required when you choose to e-file 1099 forms. But, TaxBandits will generate it automatically for your reference. 

Simply follow the steps below to access a copy of your Form 1096.

Step 1:

Log in to your TaxBandits account. From the Dashboard, Navigate to the “Distribution Center”.
 

Step 2:

Select the tax year for which you need to download Form 1096 under the “Tax Year” dropdown at the top right corner.  

Note: TaxBandits provides you with an option to download Form 1096 copies for the current and previous tax years. 

Then, Under the “Print Forms” section, select “1099/W-2/1098/5498 Forms”.

Step 3:

Under the drop-downs “Select Form Series” and “Select Business”, select the required 1099 form and business for which you need to download the summary Form 1096.

Step 4:

You can see the list of 1099 forms filed by the business for the corresponding tax year. Click 'Summary Form 1096', and your 1096 form will be downloaded automatically.
