How do I print 1099 and W2 forms filed with TaxBandits?

TaxBandits provides you with an option to download and print the form copies for your reference once you have transmitted the returns with the IRS. The copies will be available for you under the “Distribution Center”.

Note: Sometimes, it might take up to 10-15 minutes for copies to reflect in the “Distribution Center”. 

Follow the steps below to download your form copies:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account.

Step 2: From the Dashboard, click “Distribution Center”.

Step 3: Choose the “Tax Year” for which you need to download form copies.

Note: TaxBandits support filing for both the current and prior tax years. Make sure you choose the right tax year for which you need to download copies.


Under the “Distribution Center”, you have three options:

• Postal Mailing: This option allows you to send form copies to your recipient through postal mailing.
• Online Access: This option allows your recipient to view and download forms online through a secure portal.
• Print Forms: This option allows you to download form copies for your reference.

TaxBandits lets you download copies of

• 1099/W-2/1098/5498 Forms 
•  94x Forms
• ACA Forms

Step 4: Click the button “1099/W-2/1098/5498 Forms”, Under the “Print Forms” section. 
 

Step 5: Select the Tax year, Business Name and Form type. Click View Forms button and all the recipients under the business will be displayed.  

You will see the section which is grouped as

• Recipient Copies (Employee Copies for 1099/W-2/1098/5498 forms)
• Payer Copies (Employer Copies for 1099/W-2/1098/5498 forms)
• State Copies 
• State Reconciliation Copies

Navigate to the respective tab to download the copies. You can either choose to download separate copies or download multiple forms based on your requirement.

Step 6: Select the required copies from the list and Click the button “Download Forms,” or if you want to download an individual copy, Click the “Download” icon under the “Action” tab.

Note: You have the option to download your form copies by Masking or Unmasking the TIN. 

Masked TIN (Recommended): Masks your TIN (replacing five digits of TIN with X’s or asterisks) on any of your tax returns filed with the IRS or with the state or local government.

Unmasked TIN: The TIN will not be masked on any of your tax returns filed with the IRS or with the state or local government.

Step 7: Select the required option. You can download the form copies as zip folder or as a consolidated pdf.
