What is Online Access?

TaxBandits Online Access is an exclusive feature that allows employers/payers to share the recipient copies instantly through a secure online portal. 

How does it work?

• Once you transmit the return, TaxBandits will send an email to the recipients with a secure portal link. 
• Recipients can easily access these form copies by clicking the secure link. 
• Upon clicking the secure portal link, recipients are prompted to enter their email address and One-time Access Code for an additional layer of security.
• Recipients are asked to grant consent before gaining access to their tax forms through the online portal.
• After granting consent, recipients are given access to form copies, which they can download at any time and anywhere.

Note: Recipients have the flexibility to revoke their consent at any time. Payers are immediately notified when the recipient revokes consent.

Why consent? As per the guidelines outlined in Publication 1179 of the Internal Revenue Service, the recipient is required to provide consent to exclusively receive their form(s) electronically. If the recipient does not consent to receive the statement electronically, a paper copy should be provided.
