How to bulk upload 1099 forms using my own template?

TaxBandits offers a convenient way to e-file in bulk. With our bulk upload feature, you can upload the 1099 details of multiple recipients using your own Excel/CSV file formats. Please note that this option is only available for Form 1099-NEC. 

To upload your 1099-NEC data in bulk using your own template on TaxBandits, follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: Sign in to your TaxBandits account. 
Step 2: In the dashboard, Start New >> Forms >> choose the Form type as 1099-NEC.

Step 3: Select the tax year for which you need to file the 1099 form. 

Step 4: Click “Start now” under Upload Excel/CSV File.

Step 5: Provide the business details.  If you have already filed for this business, then click Select Business and the existing business list will be displayed.  Choose the business to autofill their details in the form. If it is a new business, fill in the details manually and click Save & Continue.

Step 6: Drag and drop your own file containing the 1099-NEC data. Note: The acceptable file formats are Excel or CSV.

You have successfully uploaded Form 1099-NEC data using your template into TaxBandits. Once the data are bulk uploaded in TaxBandits, resolve the errors if they exist and proceed with the form filing.
