How to add employee W2 forms manually for a return?

If you are only submitting a few forms, the manual option is preferable because the process includes adding the forms one by one. You can also use this option if you have already uploaded W2 forms in bulk and need to add a few additional W2 forms for the employer.
Here's how to manually add employee W2 forms:
- Log in to your TaxBandits account, and on the Home page, Start New >> Form >> W-2.
Choose Manual Option
Choose Manual Data Entry and click Choose to add Form W-2 manually to enter the employee W2 form.
Form Details Tab
- Add Employer Details
If you had filed for the employer earlier, use the search bar to pull the employer's details from the address book. If not, fill in the employer details.
- Add Employee Details
If you have already filed a return for the employee, use the search bar to pull the details of the employee from the address book. If not, fill in the employee details. Enter the wage and tax numbers for the State and Locality and click Save and Continue.
Review and Select Services
You can opt for Postal Mailing and Online Access to send the completed copies. Click on Continue.
State Filing Info
If state filing is necessary for the chosen state, TaxBandits will e-file the return in the State Filing Info tab after hitting the Continue button. It will take you to the Audit Forms tab if you don't.
Checkout
Complete the order after payment, and the Form W-2 will now be transmitted to IRS/SSA.
If you are filing a high volume of forms, bulk uploading the W2 forms in larger batches is the better option.
