Options to add employee W2 forms

There are a couple of ways you can add W2 forms for an employer. One is to add the W2 form details for each employee manually, and the other is to upload their W2 forms in bulk.
- Log in to your TaxBandits account, and choose Form W-2.
- Choose the tax year and click Next.
- Pull up the employer details from the address book using the search bar if available or fill in the details. Click Save and Continue.
Manual Data Entry
We recommend this option when the count of employee W2 forms to file is low, or you have bulk uploaded the forms earlier and want to add one or two W2 forms to the same order. The manual data entry flow lets you add W2 forms one by one. If the employee is available in the address book, you can quickly pull up their details using the search bar and only have to fill in the federal and state information.

Import using Bulk Upload
We recommend this option when the count of employee W2 forms to file is high. You can use the template provided in the flow or use your own template to bulk upload W2 forms. Excel and CSV are the only acceptable formats.
If you are using your own template, we try to match the column headers in your file against the Form W-2 fields. A preview screen would show the column names in yellow that we could not match. Use the drag and drop feature to map the column headers of your file against the Form W-2 fields. If you are using the template we provided, we will map the columns for you to proceed with the filing.
