The State of Mississippi mandates the filing of a 1099 Form if there is any state tax withholding. Andthere is even no state tax withholding, but the total reportable payment exceeds $600 annually in dividends, interest, rents, royalties, annuities, pensions premiums, corporate liquidations, and other fixed income.

Due Date

The due date to file 1099 and Form 89-140 with Mississippi is February 28.

Penalty
