Applicable To
94X 1099 W-2 ACA W-4

The state of Kansas is required to file Form 1099 for the taxable non-wage payments the Payer made during the tax year.

TaxBandits supports the e-filing of Form 1099 with both the Federal and State of Kansas. However, we do not support filing the Annual withholding “Form KW-3” with the state, and the payer is responsible for filing the form before the deadline.

Form KW-3 - Annual Withholding Tax Return

Due Date

The filing due date for Form 1099 and Form KW-3 is January 31.

Penalty

A penalty is due at the rate of 15% on the underpayment if the return is filed and tax paid after the due date and prior to February 1 of the following year.
