In TaxBandits, a tax professional signing up as an electronic return originator (ERO) will have the option to get the taxpayer sign Form 8879-EMP to authorize the electronically filing of the 94x forms. The Form 8879-EMP can be sent to the taxpayer to have it e-signed.

Alternatively, a pre-filled Form 8879-EMP may be downloaded and have the taxpayer sign the hard copy of the same.
